Industrial IR Heating: OEM Quality Without the Markup

You either pay a massive premium to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or you buy cheap generics that burn out in a week. We decided to fix that. We build our lamps to those same strict OEM specs, but we sell them direct. When I say “OEM-grade,” I’m talking about the stuff that actually matters on the floor. We make sure the filaments don’t drift and the quartz tubes don’t bow under pressure, even when they’re cycling on and off all day long.
Getting the Heat Right
In food production, it’s all about heat density. If you’re running a 230V or 400V system, the wattage-per-centimeter is what determines how fast your product actually hits the target temperature. High-voltage tubes are great because they pack more punch into a smaller space. They ramp up fast. Just a heads-up, though: make sure your electrical panels can handle the current draw. You don’t want to be chasing tripped breakers in the middle of a shift.
The Tech Side (Simplified)
We use high-purity quartz glass so the IR transmission is as clean as possible. Depending on what you’re cooking or drying, we can add specialized coatings. This is key because it pushes the heat into the product instead of just scorching the outside. As for the fit? We use standard R7s or Sk15 connectors. They’re simple drop-in replacements. They snap in tight, which means no loose connections and no scary arcing.
Real Talk: The Shop Floor
Food environments are brutal. It’s humid, it’s messy, and it’s tough on gear. That’s why we obsess over the seal where the lead-in wires meet the quartz tube. If moisture creeps in there, your filament is toast. We lock it down tight to keep the lamps running longer. One last thing: if you’re installing these in a cramped enclosure, keep an eye on your airflow. The ambient temp in there will spike fast. If the housing gets too hot, your lamps won’t last. We provide the raw power—you just need to make sure the cooling fans are doing their job. It’s a straightforward deal. You get the technical precision you need, but you stop paying the middleman markup.
