We&amp;rsquo;ve spent a lot of time figuring out how to match the output of the big-name brands without all the fancy corporate markup.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The trick is in the voltage.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Consistent drying comes down to wavelength and power density. We build our lamps to fit the exact wattage and voltage your machines already use. If we go with a higher voltage setup, the current draw drops. That means you can use thinner wiring without worrying about everything melting down. It just makes the whole electrical setup a lot leaner.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;About the materials&amp;hellip;&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use high-purity quartz glass. Why? Because these things go through rapid heating and cooling, and cheap glass just cracks. We also use a halogen gas fill to keep the filament from wearing out too fast.&#xA;And don&amp;rsquo;t worry about the fit. We stick to standard R7s or Sk15 connectors. They just slide right in. You won&amp;rsquo;t have to spend a weekend re-tooling your sockets just to switch to our lamps.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A quick heads-up on the trade-offs.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;High-density lamps dry food fast. But they&amp;rsquo;re tough on your reflectors. Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: if your reflectors are pitted or oxidized, you&amp;rsquo;re throwing away maybe 30% of your heat. Our lamps put out the same intensity as the expensive brands, but you&amp;rsquo;ve got to keep your housing clean to actually see those energy savings.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;How we keep the price down.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We don&amp;rsquo;t cut corners on materials. That&amp;rsquo;s a recipe for disaster. Instead, we just fixed the way we make them. By getting the filament winding exactly right, we get rid of those &amp;ldquo;hot spots&amp;rdquo; that usually kill a lamp early.&#xA;You get a bulb that lasts just as long as the benchmark brands, but you aren&amp;rsquo;t paying a premium just for a logo on the box.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
